We argue hybrid architectures that anchor minimal hashes on-chain while storing images off-chain fit cooperative IT capacity better than fully replicated smart contracts.

A commercially licensed triage assistant was piloted in two urban EDs with chronic crowding. We analyzed six months of timestamped nurse overrides, vital sign completeness, and subsequent admission outcomes. Nurses frequently downgraded algorithm urgency when patients appeared stable verbally but lacked recent blood pressure entries, suggesting interface friction rather than disagreement with physiology. Training sessions that surfaced feature attributions modestly increased adherence for chest pain presentations. Policy discussion should fund vital-sign capture before penalizing staff for algorithm mismatch in fast-moving halls.

Self-built rooftop rooms amplify summer heat but rarely appear in municipal energy models. We instrumented fifteen units with paired indoor-outdoor sensors and surveyed occupants about ventilation habits and sleep quality. Wet-bulb globe temperature often exceeded recommended thresholds despite mild regional averages because corrugated metal shells retained nocturnal heat. A simple multiple regression linked elevation, coastal breeze hours, and shading from neighbor walls to perceived comfort. Co-designed shading meshes from reclaimed fishing net reduced peak indoor temperature modestly without blocking emergency egress routes valued by residents.

We constructed a heterogeneous graph linking authors, institutions, and keywords from thousands of openly listed submissions without accessing full text. A shallow graph convolutional network predicted future collaboration edges withheld from training, beating logistic features derived from degree counts alone. Temporal snapshots showed conference cycles and visiting appointments as strong predictors. Ethical review addressed surveillance concerns by evaluating aggregate metrics only and excluding sensitive affiliation fields when institutions requested opt-out. The approach may assist libraries prioritizing partnership grants rather than individual surveillance.

Federated training assumes similarly structured features across sites, yet community hospitals often record labs and vitals at different cadences. We simulated twelve virtual nodes with realistic missingness patterns drawn from public schema documentation and trained a logistic model for thirty-day readmission risk. Batch normalization at the server and adaptive aggregation weights reduced AUC variance compared with uniform FedAvg. Smaller sites benefited from proximal regularization toward a reference model trained on de-identified summary statistics only. Results caution against deploying one global model without monitoring per-site calibration drift.

The canonical genetic code describes how nucleotide triplets encode amino acids during translation. However, increasing evidence suggests that codon composition also affects translational efficiency, mRNA stability, and protein folding. In this study, we propose a novel regulatory framework in which codon triplets themselves act as structural motifs capable of inducing local mRNA hairpin structures that influence translational dynamics. We introduce the concept of a triplet regulon, defined as a regulatory module in which codon triplets contribute to gene expression control through secondary RNA structure formation. Using computational RNA folding predictions and codon distribution analyses, we demonstrate that certain triplet combinations exhibit a high propensity to form local hairpin motifs capable of influencing ribosomal progression. These findings suggest that the genetic code may possess an additional regulatory layer beyond amino-acid specification. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women globally. To aid in early detection and treatment, there is a pressing need for predictive methodologies that are highly accurate, understandable, and technologically advanced. We introduce a DL model here that can predict breast cancer using both private and public datasets. The model improves the collection of data and real-time monitoring through the Internet of Things (IoT) and eliminates the effect of class imbalance using the SMOTE technique. The proposed approach integrates an AI strategy, explicable through SHAP values, to enhance comprehension of the model. To identify the best deep learning algorithm for this application, we evaluate and compare six different ones: ensemble deep learning, deep belief networks, tabular neural networks, XGBoost with neural network embedding, gradient-boosted neural networks, and MLPs with feature engineering. IoT devices facilitate continuous patient data acquisition, which, when combined with our predictive models, enhances early detection capabilities. Our approach demonstrates significant improvements in predictive accuracy and sensitivity, essential for reliable cancer detection. Additionally, by employing SHAP, we provide detailed explanations of model decisions, offering transparency that is critical in clinical settings. We validate our models through rigorous cross-validation and statistical analysis, ensuring robustness and generalizability across different patient populations. The findings demonstrate the promise of our proposed IoT-integrated approach for improving prediction performance and increasing confidence in AI-powered medical diagnostics by making them easier to understand and implement. In terms of performance, the proposed approach achieved the best result for predicting breast cancer incidence when it utilized XGBoost in conjunction with a neural network embedding algorithm and SMOTE. Experiments conducted using the private dataset yielded accuracy (95.8%), precision (100%), sensitivity (91.2%), F1-score (95.4%), and AUC (0.98), respectively. Furthermore, XGBoost with NN Embedding did exceptionally well using the combined dataset, with 99.6% accuracy, 100% precision, 99.2% sensitivity, 99.6% F1 score, and 100% AUC.
